The Supported Employment Program assists St. Louis County residents with developmental disabilities in obtaining and keeping meaningful positions at SSM Health.
How does the program work?
We partner with community agencies to recruit people with disabilities for employment. The agencies search for openings on our careers site, then request a pre-screening between the project coordinator and a selected applicant. If he or she is a good fit, the applicant is scheduled for an interview where their employment readiness is assessed by a hiring manager.
SSM Health was founded by the Franciscan Sisters of Mary who were committed to providing opportunities for those in need. Through our Supported Employment, SSM remains committed to the sisters' vision by supporting people with disabilities.
